The protection and enhancement of the research in the ASSD project are important objectives to follow. Scientific publications and participation in related events, as well as the advertising publications about the project, represent an effective and interactive way to disseminate results and discuss potential future developments.

International scientific publication approved for ASSD project

ASSD Chatbot

ASSD chatbot” is the conversational tool designed to help users to build and organize the desired itinerary and customize each trip.

The conversational agent created within the ASSD project is multilingual (Italian, English and Chinese) and designed to respond to two different use cases:

Add information: collection of information related to the user profile. In this case, the chatbot asks the user for the missing information to complete his profile, with a series of targeted questions.

Plan itinerary: collection of information necessary for the generation of a travel itinerary (when and for how long the user wants to travel, with whom he wants to travel, what are his favorite travel categories, what budget he is willing to spend, etc.).

The chatbot was designed by the partner CELI and then integrated by the other partners in the ASSD experimental prototype.

The chatbot is now also available on our project website.

ASSD Web prototype

The web version of the ASSD experimental prototype, capable of self-generating tourist itineraries, is now available.

Consult the ASSD WEB PROTOTYPE in menu RESULTS.

We will soon be able to release the new version with some interactions in the Chinese language.

ASSD project and the scientific community

The ASSD project is the subject of a scientific article sent for publication in the special issue of the IX International Conference on Sustainable Tourism promoted by the Wessex Institute of Technology

https://www.wessex.ac.uk/conferences/2020/sustainable-tourism-2020

The article will be presented at the conference, which will take place online from 8 to 10 July 2020, in collaboration with the research group in Operational Research of Department DIMEG of the University of Calabria.

Experimental prototype ASSD Mobile App

To download the ASSD Prototype APK to be installed on your Android device, candidates for the experimentation by sending us an email to assd@valuetech.it : we will reply with the instructions to complete the download.
You don’t have Android or do you have an iOS device? Don’t worry, you can use the browser version of our prototype available here

Anonymous questionnaire

Knowing the preferences and travel tastes of tourists, aims the prototype to be more accurate in generating personalized itineraries.

For this purpose we have created an anonymous questionnaire available to the following link:

TURISMO 4.0: IN CALABRIA INTELLIGENZA ARTIFICIALE CHE COMUNICHI IN CINESE

If a few days ago the news that the giant Microsoft has made available its technology on the chatbot for the creation of a prototype Mobile App for tourism in Japan (source HDBlog.it), is not far behind what is being realizing in Calabria at this moment in a small, but highly innovative, company based in Rende named Valuetech (but with offices also in Turin and Vilnius).
The idea we are working on is the realization of an experimental prototype that points to a 4.0 tourism offer through sentiment analysis, semantics, artificial intelligence and chatbot.
